"Back in the saddle again!"

I've been away on vacation, but I'm ready to do some serious blogging again! Thanks for the emails from those wondering why I fell off the face of the earth.  I should have done better at lettting you know (in advance) that my blogging would be slowing down for a few weeks' time.

Yes, I'm back in Utah and ready to do some serious blogging again.  I've been gone for nearly three weeks and have traveled many miles by both land and air as I've been involved in both work and family activities.

In early June, I attended a week-long conference in Kansas City related to my work in small business entrepreneurism and regional economic development.  It was a great time to learn some new tactics and about some of the latest resources available to entrepreneurs; but unfortunately, it was not a good time to blog.

I'll fill you in on the details of what I learned in some upcoming posts.

I was away from the computer and didn't have the time to post blog entries prior to leaving.  I'm sure that some day there will be universal Internet access around the globe, and there certainly is access in K.C., but I wasn't set up properly and I don't own a laptop (hopefully, I'll join the mobile crowd soon) so I took a break from my blogging routine.

Upon arriving home to Utah, I had a couple of hectic days, then was off to more meetings, and again, no Internet access.  For a blogger to be effective, it's pretty important to have 'net access -- wouldn't you say?  Of course . . .

Then a week ago, I headed out of town again.  This time my family and I traveled by car to Altamont, Utah for a family reunion of the Browne clan -- about 70 members on this trip.  We stayed the week at the beautiful Hidden Springs Ranch.

Relatives came from Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, Arkansas, Idaho, Colorado, Texas, and Utah (did I leave any state out?)  It was a great week of swimming, boating, flyfishing, 4-wheeling, rock climbing, and just relaxing as I caught up on all the news from my brothers and sisters and their families (seven of us altogether).

Everyone is doing well and the family continues to grow with lots of little ones running around and having a great time with their cousins.

Anyway, if you missed the blog, please keep us bookmarked and visit often as there are a lot of things currently happening in the world of solo Internet business!
